My family of 5 had a great experience at this hotel. Everyone at the hotel was so nice and friendly and took great care of us; they really tried to meet any need we had. We loved relaxing in the hammocks by the pool. The food each morning was delicious. The location of the hotel was great and we were able to walk to parks and restaurants daily. Overall, I highly recommend. We can't wait to return!

We were fortunate to stay at the Boutique on our recent trip to Merida. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished, and everything in the hotel was spotless and beautiful. The property itself is well-located and within an easy walk to Paseo de Montejo, some of the city's best restaurants, and a flat 20 minute walk to the main square. We stayed in the Penthouse--which included an amazing rooftop deck, seating, and a hammock-- and it was perfect for sitting outside in the cooler air of the early morning and late evening. The daily breakfast was delicious and made to order, including fresh bread from the neighboring bakery, and it easily held us over until lunch. At high-end properties, you pretty much expect to have a beautiful room, but you also hope for that extra touch of service and warmth that makes the stay so much more pleasant. This service aspect of our stay exceeded even our highest hopes. The owner, Sunita, and her staff, skillfully arranged all of our transportation (including to/from Cancun airport), our tours to various Mayan pyramids, and a trip to the local market and cooking class. Sunita went above and beyond to make my family feel welcome in Merida, and we felt so at home in her hands that we are already planning our next trip to the city. Her staff is excellent, particularly Alesandra and David, who were both so incredibly kind and helpful to us throughout our stay. This hotel is highly recommended as an excellent value for families seeking high-end accommodations in Merida, particularly when you factor in the quality and size of the rooms (ours had three separate bedrooms and two baths), the premium location, the daily included breakfast, and the total end-to-end service. If you are planning to use Merida as a base for exploring the wider area, including the ruta puuc, I also highly recommend emailing Sunita to seek her help in setting everything up, as it will probably save you hours of time and frustration.

We had a wonderful week-long stay and really enjoyed our time here. The hotel is in a peaceful, beautiful location, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room and the hotel overall was also very clean. The location is excellent! It is very walkable and convenient, yet calm and quiet. Breakfast was tasty and generous with fresh fruit, though a bit more variety would have been nice. We were upgraded to a room with a separate living space, which was a lovely bonus, and having a fridge in the room was very convenient. A slightly more comfortable couch in the living area and a coffee machine or kettle in the room would have been nice additions, but these were minor details. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would absolutely stay here again!

One of the best hotels where I’ve ever been. It’s an absolute recommendation to stay there a couple of nights if you want to explore Merida. (Especially due to the location. It’s very close to downtown).

We recently stayed at this lovely, charming boutique hotel in the heart of Merida! The room was super comfortable, and very well equipped with everything we needed for our one week stay. We had a yummy breakfast at the hotel whenever we came down, or if we wanted something special, walked just around the corner to a fabulous coffee place. The staff could not do enough for us; everyone was so kind and lovely. And almost everything you want to see in Mérida is an easy walk from the hotel. Or there are lots of quiet places to sit and while a way a few hours, reading or doing whatever, all over the property. We could not have been happier! There’s also nothing like a good nights sleep when you’re traveling, and i have to add that not only was the bed terrific, the pillows were sensational—so great that we found out who makes them and we are now sleeping with them at home! Boutique by the Museo is just the perfect spot!

Had such a great stay at The Boutique By the Museo Hotel! The space is stylish and super comfortable, with beautiful design touches that make it feel really special. The staff were welcoming and helpful the whole time. I loved how close it was to cultural spots and local attractions. It was easy to explore the area. The room had great AC and WiFi, and I felt super relaxed during my entire stay. Would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I spent 3 nights and four wonderful days at Boutique by the Museo and it felt like being at home. The suites/apartments were clean, had luxury towels and sheets, the beds were comfortable. and the property was as nice as the pictures. The staff was helpful and attentive and having the owners on the property meant that every detail was on point. I would highly recommend it!

This place is a gem! Rooms are super comfortable and well decorated, staff goes above and beyond, food is fantastic and location is great for history, food, nightlife. Not to mention the bakery and cocktail bar next door is operated by the same family and is excellent! I would highly recommend!
